Ngl, this is how our hero section looked like when I pushed the landing page online. But then, I looked at the page with a more critical eye.

Then, the underlying issue hit me harder: Screaming Frog is a registered trademark. And I don't definitely want to deal with the legal complications. Who is even going to fund that when Crab is all free?

As an SEO Specialist with years of experience, I can't deny how amazing Screaming Frog is! I've used the tool over and over again for SEO audits. In fact, I trust the tool more than Ahrefs or SEMrush, despite their in-built audit features. If you are a heavy SEO practitioner, it should be your go-to tool.

But here's the thing. Not everyone out there is a heavy lifter.

I execute SEO audits occasionally. But then, burning my pockets for an expensive tool like Screaming Frog, seemed unreasonable. Especially for students and solo founders, the cost of Screaming Frog can feel disproportionate to how often the tool is used. This is where Crab comes to our rescue!

Let me be honest. It is not perfect. Not even close to Screaming Frog or SEMrush. But at the end of the day, it does the job!
